GRA holds 8th annual general meeting in Guwahati

GUWAHATI, June 16: The Guwahati Realtors Association (GRA) held its 8th Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Saturday evening at Hotel Nandan, drawing participation from over fifty bona fide members and associates.

The meeting commenced with the National Anthem, following which GRA Secretary Abhimanyu Modi presented and confirmed the minutes of the previous AGM.

Treasurer Pabitra Kumar Deka tabled the financial report for the fiscal year 2024–25.

GRA President Gaurav Agarwal reviewed the association’s achievements over the past year and presented a video showcasing key activities.

Mementos were distributed to members in recognition of their contributions.

Agarwal also announced the new Governing Body for 2025–26 and formally inducted nine new members, reflecting the association’s growing presence in Assam’s real estate sector.

A key highlight of the evening was a panel discussion on “Real Estate – Strategies & Best Practices,” featuring Sumanth Reddy, Chairman of NAR India, as the Chief Guest.

The panel also included Anup Dalmia, Vice President of NAR India and President of RECA Kolkata, and Rajesh Baid, Director (East Zone) of NAR India, as guests of honour.

Moderated by Shailesh Bahety, the discussion focused on RERA compliance, emerging market trends, and collaborative strategies for sectoral growth.
