GUWAHATI, May 18: Number of passengers and air traffic movements is showing a sharp rise at Guwahati. In terms of flights, one of the latest additions is the Akasha Airline. Recently the airline has introduced a new connectivity from Guwahati to Bengaluru via Kolkata on all week days.
This is one of the latest additions of connectivity at Guwahati’s Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport during this summer schedule. The passengers from Guwahati to Bengaluru expressed satisfaction over the enhancement of flights connecting to Bengaluru via Kolkata. Akasha is deploying a narrow-body Boeing aircraft with single class configuration offering 189 seats in economy class. It will be operated on all week days. The inward sector Flight QP 1541 departs Guwahati at 7:45 pm in the evening to Kolkata and reach Bengaluru at 12:15 am. On the other hand, QP 1377 departs Bengaluru at 2:30 pm to Kolkata and reach Guwahati at 7:05 pm in the evening. However, Akasha decided to operate the route effective from May 18 onwards and will be operational till October 28.
