Guwahati, May 30: Hafele organised an award show in Guwahati in association with The Association of Architects Assam recently. Architect Habeeb Khan, president, Council of Architecture, Government of India; architect Shree Prakash Shandilya, and architect Amitabh Sharma were some of the prominent names who attended the program.
Jurgen Wolf, managing director, Hafele South Asia inaugurated the program, followed by the felicitation of architects. Architect Debasish Chakraborty of Designer’s Guild, architect Manas Rajkumar and Aarti Thakkar of Clean Slate Design, architect Arvind Bawri of ABDS, architect Kaushik Das of Dream Space, architects Sumeet Bagree and Mamta Bagree of Avant-Garde, architect Santosh Banka of Banka and Associates, architect Aditya Garodia and Aarti Thakkar of 727 Architects were among the awardees.
Notably, the Association of Architects Assam (AAA) aims to improve the prospects, status, and morale of the profession and bring public consciousness to architecture. Since its inception in 1981, AAA has been instrumental in arranging and participating in workshops, seminars, and exhibitions and is directed towards imparting information, trends, and technological advancements in the field to all concerned sections of society.
