Gupta further added, “An awareness session was organised by the Competition Commission of India (CCI) under the government of India on the important topic of ‘Healthy and Unhealthy’ competition in business. In which the difference between the two was explained through the presentation. For example, if any goods are imported into India from the international market under unhealthy competition, then it was told about the anti-dumping duty imposed on them. In the same way, if any industry in India unethically creates trade-related hindrances to any industry, then information about various legal provisions under CCI was also given for that. Along with this, all this information is also available on the website of AIGMF.”

The meeting was attended by AIGMF vice president HC Bhambani (Sunrise Glass), secretary Vinit Kapoor, treasurer Purvish Shah (Gopal Glass), CGCRI scientist Dr K Annapurna, Aman Gupta (managing partner NES Refectories LLP), Dave Fodham Publishers Glass Worldwide, among others.
