ITC Sunrise Pure launches ‘Agragamini’ Campaign

GUWAHATI, Dec 14: ITC Sunrise Pure, in line with its brand ethos to encourage and empower women of the community, has collaborated with Assam Startup and AIIDC (Assam Industrial Infrastructure Development Corporation) to celebrate and recognise the women entrepreneurs of Assam.

As part of the association, Sunrise Pure has launched the ‘Agragamini’ campaign, through which the brand will recognise 10 women entrepreneurs of Assam who have carved a niche for themselves and have significantly contributed to creating livelihoods for others. The curated video series vividly captures the inspiring journeys of these superwomen, highlighting their groundbreaking work and how their visionary ideas are transforming the entrepreneurial landscape of Assam. The video series captures the inspirational journey of these superwomen who are an epitome of resilience, hard-work and commitment.

The video series was launched in the gracious presence of Bimal Borah, minister of industries, commerce & PE department, government of Assam. During the event, Bora highlighted the importance of women in business and highlighted the government’s support for entrepreneurship in the region to further encourage women entrepreneurs.

In conjunction, the brand will also provide a platform to encourage budding entrepreneurs to showcase their business/ideas through a start-up contest. Top 3 businesses/ideas will be awarded with up to Rs 1 lakh cash prize. In addition, they will also receive support from Assam Start-Up cell to further scale up their business and overcome any challenges.

Speaking at the event, Piyush Mishra, business head of Sunrise Pure Spices said, “As a brand, we have been committed to empower the women of our community whether it is through our products or initiatives. We are delighted to launch this campaign that not only celebrates the achievements of women entrepreneurs but also serves as a source of inspiration for aspiring businesswomen. Our collaboration with the Assam Startup Cell and AIIDC amplifies our commitment to support entrepreneurship and showcasing their immense talent and potential”.

The 10-part video series sheds light on the untold stories of women who have overcome challenges and paved a way to inspire others. Each episode will feature a different woman entrepreneur, showcasing her journey, achievements and the positive impact her business created. From start-ups to established enterprises, the series will encompass a diverse range of industries, offering viewers a comprehensive look at the myriad ways in which women are making a difference in Assam.  The series will be aired on Sunrise Pure Youtube Channel.
