GUWAHATI, Aug 1: Topcem Cement signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with National Small Industries Corporation (NSIC) to facilitate Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME) in getting quality cement at competitive prices. The MOU was signed by Vijay Prakash, zonal general manager (North-East), NSIC Limited, and Dr Anil Kapur, president, Sales and Marketing, Meghalaya Cements Ltd. at Topcem Cement’s office in Guwahati. The MoU was signed under the NSIC’s raw material distribution scheme for the supply of cement in the north-east India market.
Dr. Anil Kapur, president-Sales & Marketing, Meghalaya Cements Ltd. said, “We believe this association with NSIC will help expedite the MSME sector growth in north-east India both in terms of economic development and job creation.”
Notably, NSIC is a Government of India enterprise under the ministry of MSME with offices across India and NER zonal office located at Guwahati.
