‘RannJypsy by Rannvijay’s’ first club unveiled in Guwahati

GUWAHATI, Oct 25: The capital city witnessed a new addition to its nightlife as film actor and MTV Roadies fame Rannvijay Singha unveiled the country’s first ‘RannJypsy by Rannvijay’ Club at Aurus Mall here.

Rannvijay addressed a press conference at the club accompanied by Guwahati franchise owner Jitu Tapan Gogoi. Brand partners Vikas Shandil, Karan Chadha, Mukesh Agarwal and Ashish Gupta were present, along with Omkar Mali, VP (Operations).

Before interacting with the media, the gathering observed two minutes of silence in tribute to renowned Assamese singer Zubeen Garg (Zubeen Da) for his contributions to Assamese culture and music.

“I humbly acknowledge the monumental contributions of Zubeen Da in making Assamese society more inclusive and culturally resilient,” Rannvijay said.

Speaking about the initiative, Rannvijay said that RannJypsy is a lifestyle brand rooted in travel, adventure and community.

“Under the RannJypsy umbrella, we will bring together cafes, clubs, gyms, boutique stays and our unique ‘RannJypsy Village’ real estate concept, celebrating free-spirited living with a sense of purpose,” he added.

Stating that the first outlet being launched in Guwahati highlights the city’s growing prominence as a cultural and hospitality hub, franchise owner Jitu Tapan Gogoi said, “Guwahati’s cosmopolitan vibe and love for good food and music make it the perfect place to start. The club offers a premium space with a wide spread of food and beverages, along with music and live performances.”

Brand partners Vikas Shandil and Karan Chadha will lead the hospitality division, covering cafes, clubs, boutique hotels, resorts and associated real estate projects.

Vikas informed that the group plans to roll out the ‘RannJypsy Village’ concept designed to bring modern lifestyle facilities to tranquil landscapes.

“RannJypsy Village is about reconnecting with nature without giving up comfort. We are developing curated living spaces in Himachal Pradesh where adventure and peace coexist,” Karan added.

Ashish Gupta will look after business development, while Mukesh Agarwal will oversee expansion and real estate partnerships.

On the food and beverage offerings, Omkar Mali said, “Our menu blends bold global flavours with vibrant North-Eastern ingredients. Our handcrafted cocktails and exclusive bar selections aim to make this space a dynamic social hub.”
