GUWAHATI, March 8: realme has launched its latest smartphone, the realme C83 5G, featuring a massive 7000mAh battery, 144Hz display and support for 5G connectivity.
The device, introduced under the company’s C-series lineup, is aimed at users seeking long battery life and reliable everyday performance.

The smartphone comes with what the company describes as the segment’s biggest 7000mAh “Titan Battery,” designed to provide extended usage throughout the day.
It supports 15W PD and 15W DCP charging and also offers 5W wired reverse charging, allowing the device to power other gadgets when needed.
The device is designed to deliver stable performance for up to four years.
Powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor built on a 6nm architecture, the phone features an octa-core CPU with two Cortex-A76 cores clocked at 2.4GHz and six efficiency cores.
It is available with 4GB and 6GB LPDDR4X RAM options and 64GB and 128GB internal storage variants. With dynamic RAM expansion, the device can extend RAM up to 18GB, while storage can be expanded up to 2TB through OTG support.
The phone features a 6.7-inch LCD display with a 144Hz adaptive refresh rate, designed to deliver smoother scrolling and responsive gameplay.
It also introduces an AI Outdoor Mode that enhances system performance, speaker volume, network responsiveness and display brightness for improved usability in bright outdoor conditions.
For thermal management, the device is equipped with a 5334 mm² airflow vapor chamber cooling system intended to improve heat dissipation during heavy usage.
In terms of durability, the smartphone offers military-grade shock resistance along with IP64-rated dust and water resistance.
It also features 300 per cent super volume audio and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for quick unlocking.
The device includes a 13MP AI rear camera capable of capturing images up to 4160 × 3120 resolution, while a 5MP front camera is housed within a waterdrop-style display.
It runs on realme UI 7.0 based on Android 16.
The realme C83 5G will be available in multiple storage variants starting at ₹13,499.
Sales began on March 7 through Flipkart, realme’s official website and select retail stores.
