GUWAHATI, March 29: Religare Enterprises Ltd (REL) and Sir Ganga Ram Hospital (SRGH) have achieved a significant milestone in bolstering healthcare services in Arunachal Pradesh.
A successful kidney transplant, facilitated by REL and conducted at SRGH in New Delhi, signals a transformative step towards enhancing healthcare accessibility and quality for the state’s residents.
The successful surgery, performed by an expert medical team, marks the inauguration of a Centre of Excellence for Renal Sciences at TRIHMS, advancing the state’s healthcare infrastructure. This initiative underscores REL’s broader social commitment through the Religare Care Foundation (RCF) to augment medical facilities and skill development in Arunachal Pradesh.
In 2023, an MoU was inked between the Government of Arunachal Pradesh, SRGH, and REL to fortify the state’s healthcare services, with SRGH serving as the technical partner. Dr. Rashmi Saluja, Executive Chairperson of REL, emphasized the pivotal role of public-private partnerships in addressing healthcare challenges and enhancing patient outcomes.
