GUWAHATI, Feb 8: Topcem Cement is going to organise a free eye screening camp and sponsor 50 cataract surgeries for underprivileged people in association with Eye Doctors – An Eye Clinic & Surgery Centre, Guwahati. Notably, this is the 6th free cataract surgery camp since the year 2018 by Topcem Cement with its aim to provide community eye care to the masses.
A total of over 500 patients are expected to be screened for eye diseases in the rural areas in the districts of Darrang, Udalguri, and Baska and nearby areas over 7 weeks which started from January 15 last.
