In a statement issued following the Budget announcement, Mittal said the strong emphasis on skilling, along with sustained investments in science, innovation and research, was timely and would help strengthen domestic capabilities.

He added that these measures would advance import substitution in critical sectors.

Mittal said the focus on infrastructure and logistics, coupled with measures to improve energy efficiency and provide impetus to the data centre ecosystem, would further reinforce confidence in India’s expanding digital economy.

He reaffirmed Bharti’s commitment to contributing to technology-led growth, expanding financial inclusion and accelerating future-ready education through the Bharti Airtel Foundation, aimed at securing India’s talent dividend.
