Meghalaya govt launches online service for new ration cards

TURA, Dec 22: West Garo Hills deputy commissioner of Supply, Swapnil Tembe has issued a notification to all the beneficiaries of Tura Sadar informing that the govt has launched online service for applying for new ration cards the availability of which however, will depend on upon the current strength of beneficiaries and the annual allotment from the Ministry of Food and Civil Supplies.

The notification also stated that the beneficiaries have to register themselves before availing the services using their Aadhaar number, username and has to upload supporting documents online at https://megrcms.nic.in
