New Delhi, Dec 14: A Delhi court has remanded all four suspects in the recent Parliament security breach incident to seven-day police custody. The accused, identified as Sagar Sharma, Manoranjan D, Neelam Azad, and Amol Shinde, were produced before the Patiala House Court today.
The Delhi Police, requesting a 15-day remand, informed the court of a plotted conspiracy and presented a pamphlet depicting Prime Minister Narendra Modi as a missing person, allegedly in possession of the accused.
The court was also informed that the accused had concealed gas canisters in their shoes. The security breach occurred on the 22nd anniversary of the 2001 Parliament attack when two intruders released yellow smoke in the Lok Sabha chamber, causing the House to adjourn.
The investigation has revealed the accused’s affiliation with the ‘Bhagat Singh Fan Club’ on social media and suggested the involvement of another individual. Sagar Sharma, a Lucknow resident, is believed to have left-wing ideological leanings and connections with individuals across multiple states.
