Arunachal Christian Forum celebrates 46th Foundation Day

ITANAGAR, April 18: The Arunachal Christian Forum (ACF) on Thursday April 17 celebrated its 46th foundation day in benefiting manner with several programmers here at its state officer at Papunallah in city.

ACF President informed the media that on the day in 1978 the ACF come into being and since then the Christian community has been celebrating the day as foundation day and people should rededicate themselves for the cause of Christian community of state.

“We also ensure ourselves that what we are doing are in the greater interest of the Christian community in particular and all the citizens and general public residing in state,” the president said.

“We also felicitated all the founder members and senior members and former President on the occasion, we also have a discussion on various issue pertaining to the Christian community in particular and state as a whole. We also listened to our senior members about our past and can challenges being faced and opportunity ahead,” he added.

Referring to APRA Act-1978, the ACF President Tarh Miri said that commitment and assurance have been given by Chief Minister Pema Khandu given on several occasion to maintain neutrality on the matter.

“It would be better if the Chief Minister Pema Khandu appoint a neutral person who can have better discussion on preparation of draft rules and regulation,” he said.
