Arunachal Christian Forum (ACF), president Tarh Miri while addressing the media person here at Arunachal Press Club informed that they would continue with their earlier announced programme to protest against the state government on the APFRA-1978.
In response to recent statement of the various leaders of Indigenous Faiths and Cultural Society of Arunachal Pradesh (IFCSAP) during their Sadbhavna Pad Yatra at the Rono ground Doimukh, Jamesh said that ACF has been protesting against the state government and not against any particular religious group so he requested IFCSAP leaders to refrain from comments on ACF and its leaders.
We respect IFCSAP’s demand for implementation of APFRA, 1978, because they have the right to place their demand to the state government. Similarly, ACF has the right to oppose and demand for repeal of the Act. We shall continue to protest until our issue is resolved amicably, he added.
