Ashtalakshmi Sant Vichar Sammelan to be held in Tripura

GUWAHATI, Dec 1:  Ashtalakshmi Sant Vichar Sammelan will be held in Tripura on 9th and 10th December 2022 and this conference will be the symbol of Vasudhaiva Kutumbkam. At a press conference held at the Constitution Club in Delhi on Saturday Tripura’s deputy CM Shri Vishnu Dev Verma said that the conference will awaken spiritual thoughts in the northeastern states.

Tripura govt. Tourism department, along with Amarvani event foundation and Indus Moon Pvt. Ltd. is organizing the conference on 9th December 2022 at Agartala. This conference will be a grand replica of the First World Literature Conference of Kolhapur. Sarve Bhavantu Sukhina Surve Santu Niramay message will be given through this gathering, Chairman Haribhakta Parayan Justice Dr. Madan Maharaj Gosavi said on the occasion. Ashtalakshmi Jagar of North East will also be organized through this conference.

Various scholars and saints of literature from northeastern states will participate in this conference. According to sources CM’s of other states will also participate in the spiritual conference. Other dignitaries and ministers will attend the conference as chief guests.

As per reports in this conference there will be seminars on spirituality by foreign intellectuals, saints and presentation of folk arts of North Eastern states.

Chitta Maharaj of Tripura Pro will be president of the conference. In his welcome speech Dr. Prakash Khandge told about the background of the first Universal Sant Sahitya Sammelan to be held in Kolhapur and outline of the conference to be held in Agartala and thanked the present journalists.
Dr. Madan Maharaj Gosavi suggested that the media should cooperate fully to reach more and more people in India that contemplation of saints is necessary to increase faith in human life after the terrible crisis of Corona.

Great tradition of saints in North Eastern states also: Verma

North Eastern states like other parts of our country have produced many saints and writers. He has done a great job of bringing universalism in the society. Tripura’s deputy CM Jishnu Dev Verma said that, we are organizing Ashtalakshmi Sant Vichar Sammelan in Tripura, so that other parts of the country also get to know about the literature of this saint. He further said that, despite many invasions on India before independence, the rich cultural traditions and heritage of our India have survived. Also, the purpose of this meeting is to inform people from other parts of India that there are many temples and places of worship in the North Eastern states.
