KOHIMA, July 21: Due to an unknown disease affecting pigs in Pfutsero town and other surrounding areas in Phek district of Nagaland bordering Manipur, the administration has banned the slaughter and sale of pigs in the area with immediate effect.
The district administration has informed on monday that there have been reports of cases of death of pigs due to unknown disease in the villages adjacent to Pfutsero town and other surrounding sub-division.
