Indrasena Reddy Nallu takes oath as 20th Governor of Tripura

Agartala, Oct 26: Indrasena Reddy Nallu was sworn in as the 20th Governor of Tripura on Thursday. The oath was administered by the Chief Justice of Tripura High Court, Apresh Kumar Singh, at the Raj Bhavan’s Durbar Hall.

Governor Nallu exchanged courtesies with the guests present at the ceremony, including Tripura Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha, Justice Arindam Lodh, Chief Secretary JK Sinha, State Director General of Police Amitabh Ranjan, among others.

Before the oath-taking, Governor Nallu was given a guard of honour at the Raj Bhavan. Governor Nallu thanked the President of India for his appointment and pledged to work for the state’s development, stressing on transparency, empowerment, and accountability.

He also promised to work closely with the Chief Minister for the progress of the state and its people.
