Mine Protected Vehicles for Manipur Police

IMPHAL, March 6: Manipur chief minister N Biren Singh launched seven Mine Protected Vehicles (MPV) for Manipur Police on Wednesday at the 1st Manipur Rifles Parade Ground in Imphal.

Manipur DGP Rajiv Singh thanked the chief minister for the MPVs and for motivating the force. Stating that three more MPVs are to arrive, he assured that the vehicles will be used for dominating areas and keeping the people of Manipur safe and secure.

The launching of the vehicles was also attended by ministers, MLAs, chief secretary Dr Vineet Joshi, security advisor Kuldiep Singh, senior administrative and police officers among
