On a special tip-off, a team under the leadership of V. K. Jawal, CF & Field Director, Namdapha National Park & Tiger Reserve along with the Range Forest Officers & members of STPF conducted the operation.
The team conducted thorough search operations and could detect and dismantle probable poacher camps within the Miao Wildlife Range.
During the patrolling, a total of two make-shift poacher camps were dismantled and destroyed.
By conducting this operation, the Namdapha authorities would like to send a clear message of zero tolerance for any kind of unlawful activities inside the Namdapha National Park & Tiger Reserve jurisdiction.
Namdapha National Park & Tiger Reserve is a protected area, any kind of illegal/unlawful activity in and around the park will not be tolerated and lead to strict action under the provisions of The Wildlife (Protection) Act, 1972.
