NFR cancels, reschedules, regulates trains due to safety related works

GUWAHATI, April 30: In view of temporary restriction on train movement from 18:00 hours to 06:00 hours between Jatinga Lampur and New Harangajao stations under Lumding division of the Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR), for undertaking track safety related works and traffic block between Jatinga Lampur and New Harangajao a few trains have been cancelled, rescheduled and regulated.

The following trains have been cancelled, regulated and rescheduled from 09:00 hours to 15:00 hours on May 1.

The Guwahati – Silchar Express, the Silchar – Guwahati Express, the Guwahati – Dullabcherra Express, the Dullabcherra- Guwahati Express, the Guwahati – Badarpur Tourist Express and the Badarpur – Guwahati Tourist Express are scheduled to leave on May 1.

Meanwhile, the Sealdah – Agartala Kanchunjunga Express commencing journey on April 30 will be regulated for four hours between Guwahati and Lumding.

On the other hand, the Agartala – Kolkata Express commencing journey on May 1 has been rescheduled to start at 08:35 hours instead of 07:35 hours. The Silchar – Secunderabad Express commencing journey on May 1 has been rescheduled to start at 23:50 hours instead of 19:50 hours
