Tableaux depicts traditional way of life of Adi tribe on Indigenous Faith Day

PASIGHAT, Dec .2 : A Tableaux depicting the traditional way of life of the Adi tribe on the occasion of Indigenous Faith Day; womenfolk showcasing the rich textiles , handloom weaving, spinning , agricultural practices participating from various villages of East Siang, youth ,children and VKV Band group during a procession around Pasighat Township in East Siang district on Thursday.

It was organised by the Indigenous Faith & amp; Cultural Society of Arunachal Pradesh (IFCSAP UNIT) & central Donyi Polo Yelam Kebang, Pasighat. More than 7000 (seven thousand ) people participated in the procession taken out in the morning before the main programme,informed organising Chairman and noted folk artiste, Delong Padung.

Rich tributes were also paid to Golgi Botte Talom Rukbo on the occasion. Director, Indigenous Affairs,Govt .of Arunachal Pradesh,Sokhep Kri joined the Indigenous faith Day Celebrations 2022 organised at Central Donyi-Polo Yelam Kebang as Chief guest and prominent Social Worker Vijay Taram as Guest of Honur. DC East Siang Tayi Taggu and Tajom Taloh,Retd. Commissioner also attended as Special Guests on the occasion.
