DIMAPUR, May 2: There will be a temporary closure of a stretch of National Highway 2 between Jakhama and Viswema in Kohima district from 3 PM to 6 PM on May 3.
The highway will be closed to facilitate the recovery of a truck, which fell into Kehorü river in this stretch of the road.
The route will remain closed to all forms of vehicular traffic for the period, Kohima DC B Henok Buchem said in an order.
The district administration urged the commuters to use the alternative route via Viswema-Kidima-Chakhabama during the closure period to avoid inconvenience.
