Kohima, Dec 30: Three Naga groups, namely NSCN/GPRN (Akato), NSCN/GPRN (Khango) and NNC (Z. Royim), have announced a joint political venture for 2024 following a meeting on Saturday.
In addition to this, the groups have also decided to conduct a joint military exercise to counter any external threats. Akato Chophy, President of NSCN/GPRN (Akato), confirmed the developments, stating that they will also participate in the political talks with the Government of India together.

The groups have also expressed their openness to collaborations with other like-minded groups. Chophy revealed that an MoU has already been signed with NSCN (Khango), and they are looking forward to working together in the coming year.
Regarding political talks with the Government of India, Chophy said that the groups will initiate discussions with New Delhi, and further steps will be taken accordingly.
However, no official communication regarding these developments has been made to the Government of India yet.
