Abhiruchi Sports Day celebrated in Demow

DEMOW, Sept 3: Under the patronage of Demow Handball Club and in Association with Demow Sports Association, the 41st edition of the Abhiruchi Sports Day was celebrated in Demow Public Playground on Tuesday. As per the schedule, the programme started with a mass run which was flagged off on Tuesday morning by Manuranjan Gogoi, OC of Demow Police Station. The flag on Abhiruchi Sports Day was unfurled by Sushanta Borgohain, MLA of Demow constituency. The flag of Demow Handball Club was unfurled by Arup Kumar Dutta, President of Demow Handball Club. The players and sports organizers were felicitated. A handball competition of boys and girls was also organised. The certificates were given to the players.
