Delhi, July 01: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has revealed that fantasy sports gaming platform Dream11 will serve as the lead sponsor for the Indian cricket team.
Under the agreement, Dream11 will hold the sponsorship rights for a period of three years. The company’s branding will appear on the Indian Team jerseys, starting with the Test Series against the West Indies, which marks the team’s initial participation in the ICC World Test Championship 2023-25 cycle.
BCCI President Roger Binny expressed his congratulations to Dream11 and welcomed them on board again. He acknowledged the progressive growth of the BCCI-Dream11 partnership, starting from being the official sponsor to now being the lead sponsor.
Binny stated that this partnership signifies the trust, value, potential, and growth that Indian cricket offers. He also emphasized the BCCI’s commitment to enhancing fan experience, particularly as they prepare to host the ICC World Cup later this year.
Meanwhile, Harsh Jain, Co-Founder & CEO of Dream Sports, expressed delight in taking their long-standing partnership with BCCI and Team India to the next level.
He conveyed the company’s excitement in becoming the lead sponsor for the national team, as Dream11 shares a deep connection with a billion Indian cricket fans.
