Students Of ARHS And KV Shine In SGADF National Games

BISWANATH CHARIALI, Sept 4: Lokra Battalion, under the aegis of Headquarter 21 Sector Assam Rifles and Headquarter Inspector General Assam Rifles (East) and in conjunction with Tezpur Town Club Association had sent students of ARHS (Assam Rifles High School) and KV (Kendriya Vidyalaya), Lokra to participate in SGADF (School Games and Activity Development Foundation) National games 2022 in Kho-Kho, Badminton and Athletics events held at Delhi from September 2 to 5, stated a press release.

Arnav Shahi of ARHS won Gold medal in Badminton, Sabaniya Chakma of KV won Gold Medal in 5000 metre race while Kesha Chetry of ARHS won Silver Medal in the 200 metre race held on September 3. Lokra Battalion conveyed heartiest congratulations to the medal winners for their unflinching hardwork and success. 

 

Lokra Battalion is also committed to upbringing the sports infrastructure to set forth new examples in the field of sports and provide an incredible platform to bring out hidden talents.

The release further states that Lokra Battalion’s main motto is to bring light into the darkness of sports, so that students not only get a chance to participate in different levels, but also motivate students to build up a career in sports.
