Assam: Gramin Hukhi Appointment Letters Distributed

KHERONI, May 6: Gramin Hukhi appointment letters were distributed under P&RD, Rongkhang Development Block to several women job card holders under MGNREGA at Jengkha under Hamren Member of Autonomous Council (MAC) constituency.

In a ceremonial distribution of the appointment letters to the Gramin Hukhi, the executive member (EM) of Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council (KAAC), Mangal Sing Timung attended as the chief guest. EM Timung said that the BJP has been working for women’s empowerment and is trying to create more jobs for them. While explaining the aims and objectives to the Gramin Kakhis, the EM said women from the age of 18 to 45 can apply for the job.

On the occasion, chairman of Hamren Municipal Board, Birensing Tisso, president of Hamren Mandal Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha, Mohan Rongphar, president of BJP, Hamren Mandal Committee, Birensing Tisso, chairman of Village Development Committee, Sarsing Phangcho, chairman of Harlongsora Lamps Ltd., Pitor Timung, and others were present.
