SIVASAGAR, Sept 14: The launch of the Ayushman Bhava Abhiyan, a nationwide initiative aimed at improving healthcare accessibility for every citizen, took place on Wednesday at 104 health centres across the Sivasagar district, including the Sivasagar Civil Hospital.
This program, inaugurated centrally in New Delhi by the honourable Present Draupadi Murmu and led by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, seeks to make healthcare facilities easily accessible to all individuals.
In Sivasagar, Geetali Duwora, additional commissioner (Health), had the honour of inaugurating the program at the Sivasagar Civil Hospital. The ceremony was graced by the presence of Dr Makhan Kalita, superintendent; Dr Udayaditya Rajkonwar, joint director health (in-charge); Dr Manoshi Bora, senior medical officer; and dedicated staff members.
Aditya Vikram Yadav, the commissioner of Sivasagar, expressed his best wishes for the success of the program in the district and called for the cooperation of the local community in its implementation.
