Social Activist Ashok Dhanuka Conferred With Doctorate Degree

GUWAHATI, May 10: Renowned social activist and industrialist of Assam, Ashok Dhanuka was conferred with a prestigious doctorate degree in the field of social services, by Theophany University, Haiti at New Delhi on Sunday. Notably, under the leadership of Ashok Dhanuka, a mega vaccination drive was successfully organised last year, where more than 52000 needy people were vaccinated in 133 days.

After receiving the degree, Dhanuka expressed his motivational views and said that there is no shortcut to success. “Hard work is the only key to achieving it; it teaches us discipline, dedication, and determination,” he added.

He further added, “This recognition gives me immense inspiration and encouragement to keep moving forward. I would like to give a small message to the next generation. Achievement does not come ‘easy’. The word ‘hard’ can be seen as an abbreviated form of the words hope, achievement, reward, and destiny. All of these words take us towards victory.”
