GUWAHATI, Oct 8: Assam Governor Gulab Chand Kataria participated in the award-giving ceremony and cultural conference organized by Navo Pravat, named “Endharor Pora Puhoroloi Buli 2023-24,” held at the Srimanta Sankardeva International Auditorium in the city.
Addressing the gathering, the Governor commended the voluntary organization Navo Pravat for its role in recognizing and honoring individuals for their outstanding contributions. He expressed his satisfaction with the organization’s practice of presenting awards to individuals from various fields, including administration, culture, education, politics, entrepreneurship, and social service. He stated, “I am glad that Navo Pravat, as a voluntary organization for several years, has been presenting awards to different personalities in recognition of their contributions. This endeavor will undoubtedly go a long way in acknowledging the good work of our people and inspiring others to follow suit.”
