Assam: Gohpur man goes missing in Bengaluru, family calls for help

Bengaluru, Oct 26: A man from Gohpur, Assam, identified as Pradip Baruah has reportedly gone missing in Bengaluru. Baruah, a resident of Kharonijaan in Gohpur, had moved to Bengaluru for work a year ago.

In an unusual development, Baruah’s wife, Krishna Saikia Baruah, received a call on October 15 from a man claiming to be a resident of Sivasagar, informing her that her husband had been injured.

However, subsequent attempts to contact the caller have been unsuccessful, with the phone number switched off. Following the strange call, Saikia Baruah alerted the Gohpur police and has since publicised a contact number (9954615133) for anyone in Bengaluru who may have information about her husband’s whereabouts.
