COCOMI expresses concern over Manipur situation

IMPHAL, Jan 18: The Co-coordinating Committee on Manipur Integrity (COCOMI) has expressed concern over the deteriorating law and order situation in the border town, Moreh.

Addressing media in Imphal, COCOMI convener Jitendra Ningomba said that despite the presence of adequate central forces, the law and order situation in the border town, Moreh, has totally collapsed.

He insisted that the central government and the state government must make their intentions clear to the public, as “there is no effective measure taken by the government”. (NNN)
