DIBRUGARH, June 27: Four students brought laurels to Dibrugarh by securing ranks in the HS exam. The HS results were declared on Monday.
Alangkrita Gautam Baruah of Salt Brook Academy secured 2nd rank in Science stream. She secured 488 marks with letter marks in all the subjects. She got 100 marks in Physics and Maths. She is the daughter of Gautam Kaushik Baruah and Ranjana Saikia Baruah of Chring Chapori, Malughabaru path of Dibrugarh. Gautam Kaushik Baruah is a government employee at the Water Resource department. Talking to this correspondent, Alangkrita Gautam Baruah said, “I am happy with my result but I didn’t expect much. I would like to thank my teachers and my parents for supporting me during my examination. There was no fixed time for my studies. My teachers helped me to clear my concepts. During my free time, I read story books and novels,” she said.
She further said, “Now I am preparing for my NEET exam. I want to pursue medicine to become a doctor.”
Ayman Shoaib secured 5th rank in Science stream from Dibrugarh Salt Brook Academy. She scored 481 out of 500. She scored 100 in physics and 99 in Maths. Talking to this correspondent, Ayman Shoaib expressed her happiness for securing 5th rank in HS. “I studied 7 to 8 hours daily. I want to thank my teachers and my parents for supporting me.”
Ayman Shoaib is the daughter of Shoaib Ahmed and Shabnam Shoaib of Makum road, Tinsukia. Her father Shoaib Ahmed is a businessman.
She further added, “I stayed at PG in Dibrugarh and the owner of the PG encouraged me a lot. Today, I am very happy and want to thank everyone who helped me during my two years in Dibrugarh.”
“Now I am preparing for the NEET examination and in the future I want to pursue medicine and become a successful doctor,” she said.
Avilasha Dutta secured 6th rank in Science stream from Dr Radhakrishnan School of Arts, Commerce and Science. She got 478 marks. She is the daughter of Anup Kumar Dutta and Pallabita Dutta of Lakhimpur, KB road. Anup Kumar Dutta is a government employee at Lakhimpur. “I studied regularly during my examination. There was no fixed time. Today, I am happy and want to thank all my well-wishers,” Avilasha Dutta said.
Antarikhya Mazumdar secured 10th position in Science stream from Dr Radhakrishnan School of Arts, Commerce and Science. She got 99 marks in Physics and Maths. She obtained 474 marks out of 500. She is the daughter of Dr Dilip Mazumdar and Dr Jyotika Mazumdar of Amolapatty, Dibrugarh. Dilip Mazumdar works at Applied Geology department in Dibrugarh University while Jyotika Mazumdar works at Zoology department in Dibru-College.
Antarikhya Mazumdar wants to become a doctor. “I studied regularly. During the pandemic, our studies were hampered but the online classes helped a lot. Our teachers guided us through online class.”
