BISWANATH CHARIALI, Nov 6: Assam Rifles organised a tree plantation drive on Tuesday at Lokra, stated a press release. The event saw enthusiastic participation from both civilians and personnel of Assam Rifles. Together, they planted an impressive 200 saplings, demonstrating their strong commitment to environmental conservation. A total of 175 people participated in the event. The tree plantation drive was conducted with the aim of generating awareness about the importance of environmental conservation to protect our habitat, its flora, and fauna.
