Assam: Road, Culvert Washed Away In Flood

BOKAJAN, July 13: A section of the road was washed away by the recent rain at Langtuk Bey village. Due to the disrupted road, the villagers have a hard time commuting to the market and schools.

The culvert is also carried away by the sudden flood and it’s more than a week since it has not been repaired. The people alleged apathy by the authorities in repairing it which is causing difficulties to the villagers. The road is used by the villagers of Lokhon Hanse, Upper Deigrum, Lokhiram Rongphar, Phangcherop, Khanari and Mai villages.
