DIPHU, Feb 9: The 72nd Saphapani Area Baptist Fellowship (SABF) annual conference which was held at the Lakhijan Baptist Church concluded on Sunday.
The three day conference started on February 7, with the theme, “From him the whole… itself up in love.” Ephesians 4:6.
Reception of delegates was on February 7 and in the evening the opening and dedication of pandal was done by SABF president, Rev Dr Aaron Teron, Pastor of Lakhijan BC.
The evening service was chaired by SABF vice president, Tennyson Tisso and announcement was made by the secretary, William Singnar.
Special numbers were presented by Paklangso BC, Khatkhati BC and choir by Hanjanglangso BC.
Rev Dr Aaron was the speaker for the evening.
On Saturday, the morning prayer was led by SABF Mission secretary, Roland Tisso.
A workshop was conducted by Dr Lipson Rongpi.
The evening service for SABFYF was chaired by Bidyasing Timung and Devison Terang made the announcement.
Special numbers were presented by Millilangso BC and Upper Deopani BC, while Bethany BC presented a choir and Dr Lipson Rongpi was the speaker.
On the concluding day, morning prayer was led by NKBA Evangelist Kensing Teron. Service for SABFWD was held chaired by the president, Kave Rongpipi and announcement and introduction of guest was taken up by Naomi Rongpipi at 9 am.
Special numbers were presented by Hirme BC and Arlongpharla BC, while Antioch BC presented choir.
Former general secretary, Karbi Anglong Baptist Convention (KABC) Rev Davidson Engti was the speaker.
Afternon service started from 1 pm, chaired by SABF president, Rev Dr Aaron Teron and announcement was made by the secretary, William Singnar.
Special numbers were presented by CITM Dimapur and Chungajan BC and a choir was presented by Longsomepi BC. Former general secretary, KABC, Rev Engti was the speaker.
Last service was held at 5.30 pm when two new fellowships were received by SABF.
With this the SABF has 13 churches with two new fellowships. Rev Dr Aaron Teron was the speaker.
The evening service was attended by Dr Lipson Rongpi, Rev David Teron and other church leaders and dignitaries attended the service.
