BOKAJAN, July 29: Ujjwal Bharat Ujjwal Bhavishya was observed as part of the 75th Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav by Assam Power Distribution Company Limited (APDCL) at Khatkhati Bongrum village.
Executive Member of Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council (KAAC), Surjya Rongphar attending as the chief guest said, “Power is now a daily necessity of a man. 99% of Karbi Anglong district is electrified. Without electricity, life would be difficult as the majority of machinery depends on it. Each household should use power judiciously. We should not use electricity without purpose.”
