ITANAGAR, March 2: The Arunachal Christian Forum (ACF) to continue with democratic movement on March 6 with Assembly gheraw programme, informed ACF president Tarh Miri.
Miri was speaking to newsperson here at Papu Nallah in city after an emergency meeting on Sunday afternoon. Miri said, “We had an emergency meeting of the central executive body meeting. Our already announced democratic movement will continue for which we have submitted representation for approval with the Capital DC and till date we have not received the denial from the administration. The denial of NOC for permission has come but our programme will continue.
ACF General secretary James Techi Tara said that denial of NOC by capital police was something like curtailment of their democratic right.
“We have submitted representation for approval of permission to the Deputy Commissioner about our ongoing democratic, though denial of NOC has been known to us from the police but we will go to DC tomorrow to know about the democratic movement and we also listen to him,” James said.
“Recently we have a discussion with the home minister and Law minister at AP Civil Secretariat and briefed him of all our issue with regards of the APFRA-1978 and preparation of rule within six months. We will announce the further course of action on March 6th. It is almost 46 years and we will continue to fight against,” he said.
