AAPPWS General Secretary Takam Tamin during a press conference at Arunachal Press Club (APC) here on Friday said, to safegurd the priests and followers of indigenous faith and culture the Act may support and help everyone and ot is not against anyone.

As the growing of different religious groups in the state, indigenous tribal people’s tradition and culture are at the verge of extinction, he added.

Stating, the act is made for the protection & preservation of indigenous faith but not against any other religious faith, AAPPWA also appealed to the Christian community of the state not to oppose the implementation of the act.

The APFRA is not only crucial for preserving the indigenous faith and cultural heritage of Arunachal Pradesh but also imperative for the priest communities to uphold the traditional ritual, asserted society.
