ABSU to hold its adjourned delegate session on April 27

KOKRAJHAR, April 10: The All Bodo Students Union (ABSU) has decided to reconvene the adjourned delegate session of the 57th annual conference of the students union on April 27 at the Jwhwlao Nileswar Brahma auditorium hall of Bodoland University in Kokrajhar.

In a press statement issued to the media, ABSU president Dipen Boro and general secretary Khanindra Basumatary have  announced that the adjourned Delegate Session of its 57th Annual Conference held at Bodofa Fwthar, Dotma, Kokrajhar district from March 13 to March 16, has been rescheduled.

In pursuit of collective responsibility and organisational harmony, the decision to reconvene the Delegate Session was affirmed through a resolution adopted at the Central Committee Cabinet Meeting of ABSU, held on April 9 at Bodofa House, Kokrajhar, echoing the union’s enduring commitment to unity, dialogue, and purposeful action.

The Delegate Session shall be reconvened with a one-day long programme on April 27 (Sunday) at the Jwhwlao Nileswar Brahma Auditorium, Bodoland University, Kokrajhar.

This Delegate Session holds significant importance in the organisational calendar of ABSU for adoption of important resolution for the interest of the Bodo Community and its future objective and dissolution of existing committee and formation of new Committee for the period of 2025-26.

Delegates who have already been registered for the 57th Annual Conference of ABSU held in March will be eligible to attend.

No fresh registration is required.

All state, district, anchalik committees and affiliated units of ABSU were humbly requested to ensure their participation in the session to make it a meaningful and successful gathering.

The ABSU leadership expresses deep appreciation for the patience and understanding shown by its members and well-wishers regarding the adjournment and looks forward to enthusiastic participation in the upcoming delegate session.
