AGARTALA, April 25; Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha on Friday strongly condemned the recent terror attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, and affirmed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will not spare those responsible for the heinous act.
Terming the attack on Hindu pilgrims as “barbaric” and “shameful,” Saha expressed deep sorrow over the loss of innocent lives and said that several people from Tripura were also present at the site during the incident.
“I strongly condemn this brutal act. It was a deeply painful incident, and several innocent souls were lost. Some people from Tripura were also there and narrowly escaped. The way those pilgrims were targeted is truly heart-wrenching,” the Chief Minister said.
Saha reaffirmed the Centre’s commitment to justice, asserting that both Prime Minister Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah are determined to take strict action.
“Home Minister Amit Shah has personally inspected the situation in Pahalgam. What PM Modi has promised will certainly be fulfilled. No one involved in this act will be spared. The entire nation stands united, and Tripura is fully behind the Prime Minister in this fight against terrorism,” he added.
Saha also conveyed condolences to the families of the victims and assured that every effort will be made to prevent such attacks in the future.
