ITANAGAR, May 3: A workshop on Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) was successfully conducted on Saturday at the headquarters of 186 Battalion, CRPF, Jaipur Namsai (ACP). The primary objective of the workshop was to train officers and personnel in vital CPR techniques and related life-saving procedures.
The session witnessed enthusiastic participation from officers and personnel, highlighting the collective commitment towards enhancing emergency response capabilities within the battalion.
Dr Rajiv Koyu from the District Hospital, Namsai, and Dr Chundru Laxmi Manasa, SMO/DC 186 BN, led the workshop by delivering a comprehensive lecture followed by a practical demonstration. Their session offered valuable insights into emergency medical protocols and emphasized the critical importance of timely CPR administration in saving lives. Dharmendra Kumar Singh, Commandant, Bipin Kumar Singh, Second-in-Command (Adm), Sandip Sharma, Second-in-Command (Ops), K.N. Haldhar, Deputy Commandant (QM/MTO), Sourabh Somvanshi, Deputy Commandant (Adm), and Dr Chundru Laxmi Manasa, SMO/DC were present on the occasion.
The event marked a significant step towards ensuring that all personnel are well-prepared to respond effectively during medical emergencies, thereby contributing to the safety and resilience of the force.
