BOMDILA, June 29: The five-day interaction tour of Arunachal Pradesh State BJP President Kaling Moyong concluded recently at the BJP Mandal Office in Rupa, West Kameng district.
The outreach initiative, aimed at reinforcing organizational structures and encouraging local leadership ahead of upcoming polls, saw the state party chief actively engaging with various party units and community members across the region.
According to an official statement, Moyong began his tour in Bomdila, where he held discussions with the office bearers of the West Kameng District BJP.
During the meeting, he reviewed the party’s ongoing organisational activities and stressed the importance of strengthening grassroots involvement.
He also visited the District Craft Centre in Bomdila, where he commended the craftsmanship of local artisans and underscored the vital role of indigenous industries in fostering regional economic development.
The final phase of the tour took place at the Rupa Mandal Office.
Addressing Mandal Office Bearers (MoBs), Moyong urged party workers to remain vigilant and committed in preparation for the forthcoming Panchayat Elections.
As part of the programme, he distributed appointment order certificates to newly inducted MoBs, officially welcoming them into the party’s organisational framework and encouraging them to undertake their responsibilities with sincerity and diligence.
The event at Rupa was attended by a number of senior State Office Bearers, reflecting the party’s cohesive approach and commitment to strengthening its base.
Among those present were Vice President Ashok Sangchoju, General Secretary Tadar Niglar, Treasurer Vinay Gupta, Convenor of the Media Cell Dolang Tako, Chairman of APFCL Nalong Mize, and Nima Sange, Chairman of the Resource Mobilisation Committee under the Planning and Investment Department of the Government of Arunachal Pradesh.
Okiam Moyong Borang, Chief Councillor of Pasighat Municipal Council, also participated in the programme.
Office bearers of the West Kameng District BJP, along with Mandal leaders from Rupa and Khalaktang, were in full attendance, underscoring the party’s united front and enthusiastic grassroots network.
The tour is being seen as a significant step in energizing the party cadre and aligning the organization’s efforts ahead of crucial electoral challenges.
