KHERONI, July 8: In a major operation against drug trafficking, Kheroni Police and members of the Karbi Students’ Association (KSA) jointly conducted a raid in the greater Kheroni area of West Karbi Anglong and arrested a brown sugar peddler on Tuesday.

Acting on intelligence provided by the KSA, police apprehended the accused, identified as Kankan Talukdar, from Kheroni, Majgaon.
