DIPHU, July 10: The ‘Diarrhoea Prevention Programme’ was officially launched across Assam, including Kamrup Metropolitan District, on Thursday.
The initiative, which will run from July 10 to August 25, was inaugurated at the State Ayushman Aarogya Mandir in Satgaon, Guwahati, by Dr Monoj Chaudhury, Director of the National Health Mission (NHM), Assam.

Oral Rehydration Solution (ORS) packets and zinc tablets will be distributed to them.
Accredited Social Health Activist (ASHA) workers will conduct door-to-door awareness drives and distribute ORS and zinc tablets to families.
