Several former MLAs and state office bearers were also present.
Delivering the welcome address, Ashok Sangchou, who also served as the convenor of the event, set the tone for the programme by highlighting the party’s unity and commitment to governance.
In his address, Nyamar Karbak offered a personal and political narrative of chief minister Pema Khandu’s journey, recalling his unopposed election from the Mukto Assembly Constituency in 2011 following the demise of his father.
Describing him as a “visionary leader, devoted son, caring father, and a committed husband,” Karbak praised Khandu’s leadership as transformative and inspiring for his colleagues.
Highlighting the government’s achievements, chief spokesperson Mutchu Mithi described the leadership of chief minister Pema Khandu and deputy chief minister Chowna Mein as “historic,” adding that their combined efforts had brought “unprecedented growth and progress” to the state.
“This golden period of governance has earned the unwavering trust of the people of Arunachal Pradesh,” he said.
Mithi also lauded the Central Government under Prime Minister Narendra Modi, stating that Arunachal Pradesh had evolved from being viewed merely as a strategic frontier state to a “land of peace and development” under the BJP regime.
He cited the sanctioning of the Arunachal Frontier Highway as a landmark step in boosting connectivity and securing the state’s international borders.
The statement further noted that the state’s annual budget had grown from ₹9,000 crore in 2014 to ₹39,000 crore in 2025, reflecting the scale of economic and infrastructure development achieved during the BJP’s tenure.
Mithi expressed pride in the tireless efforts of the Chief Minister and the sustained support of BJP karyakartas across the state.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Pangku Wangsu, State Secretary and Co-Convenor of the event.
The celebration ended on a note of renewed commitment to continue the momentum of progress and public welfare under the leadership of chief minister Pema Khandu and deputy chief minister Chowna Mein, with the support of the BJP and the people of Arunachal Pradesh.
