NCHAC organises ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ rally in Haflong

HAFLONG, Aug 11: The Government of India has started the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign in the entire country under Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav to celebrate 75 years of India’s Independence. As a part of celebration of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, a mass rally on ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ was organised by North Cachar Hills Autonomous Council (NCHAC) at Haflong on Thursday.

The rally was participated by all the HoDs, DDOs, staff of departments, SHGs, NGOs and students. More than 1000 people participated in the rally. The rally began from council gate and rotated the statue of Veer Sambudhan Phonglo (freedom fighter of India Independence) at Haflong market and concluded at council parking.
