According to an official statement, the Police Headquarters has confirmed that key logistical and technical arrangements are being finalised at the shooting venue in RGU, which has been selected for its accessibility and adequate infrastructure.
The APRA president stated that members of the association have been working rigorously to ensure the smooth organisation of the championship.
“The team members of the Arunachal Pradesh Rifle Association are actively engaged in various activities, including range preparation, coordination with technical officials, and overseeing registration logistics,” he said.
As per the official statement, the registration process for participants will open on August 2 and continue until August 7.
All registered shooters from across the state have been urged to enrol within the registration window to confirm their participation.
Shooters affiliated with recognised clubs and institutions are eligible to register and compete in the championship, which is expected to witness participation from aspiring marksmen and seasoned shooters alike.
The championship is part of APRA’s continued efforts to promote the sport of shooting in Arunachal Pradesh and provide a platform for local talents to showcase and refine their skills.

For updates or clarification related to registration or participation, interested shooters and clubs may contact any of the APRA executive members.
