NAGAON, July 23: A three-day terracotta workshop, organised by the Anupurbik Art and Craft Institute, concluded successfully on Tuesday at Vivekananda High School in Nagaon town.
The event, which began on July 21, aimed at promoting traditional art forms and nurturing creative skills among students.
The closing ceremony was attended by several distinguished guests, including retired teacher Rabindra Chandra Das, Headmaster Narayan Majumdar, social worker Anima Saikia, and noted artists and cultural figures from the district.
The final session of the workshop was conducted under the guidance of Rajiv Das, founder principal of the school and a prominent artist.
A total of 87 students participated in the workshop, during which they created a variety of terracotta figurines.
All participants were presented with certificates and medals in recognition of their work and enthusiasm.
The organisers acknowledged the contributions of the management committee and the teaching staff of Anupurbik Art and Craft Institute, including Snigdha Bhatta Das, Geeta Debnath, Simpi Mandal, and others, for their efforts in ensuring the successful conduct of the workshop.
